The Ayurvedic Chakra Dhara massage

This is the most famous signature treatment of Bali Botanica Spa.

It is both sensual and spiritual. It includes the dripping of one liter of warm herbal oil onto the chakra points. Our therapists use this oil ritual to balance the energy flow and purify the body, mind and spirit.
The therapist skillfully and respectfully treats your body with an array of repetitive and slow movements, alternately stimulating and soothing, to eliminate toxins and other impurities. This deeply relaxing treatment also promotes blood circulation, increases flexibility and relieves pain and stiffness.
A truly holistic experience!

Relaxing Massage (75 minutes)

It is based on Ayurvedic principles and uses warm oil. A relaxing and balancing massage that helps remove stress.
Warm organic herbal oil will be poured onto your skin, followed by comforting massages that stimulate the nervous system.

Exfoliation and Floral Bath "Mandi Lulur" (1 h 50 min)

17th-century Javanese royal treatment. A 65-minutes relaxing massage, followed by spice scrub (turmeric, sandalwood and rice powder) exfoliation with yogurt for moisturizer and a fragrant blossom bath! A truly royal treatment!

Ayurvedic Crown Massage (45 min)

This treatment is especially recommended for those having tensions in the upper body and/or suffers from headaches/migraines.
Your therapist massages warm oil onto your head and upper body in a rhythmic rippling motion that dispels tension. A fresh hibiscus leaf mask is then applied to your hair while your scalp is wrapped with a banana leaf.
The arm massage is performed while you relax for 25 minutes. As the mask is removed, the therapist will again give you a massage to stimulate blood circulation. Finally, you will have your hair washed and dried.

Spa day at Bali Botanica spa

Before you start, the receptionist will give you an explanation about all treatments inclusive in the package. You will also be served with a glass of healthy juice during your visit (usually after the therapeutic bath).

First treatment: Ayurvedic massage – Chakra Dhara (2.5 hours)

This treatment includes dripping warm herbal oil on the chakra points on your body in order to balance the energy flow and to purify the body, mind and spirit.
Our therapist will skillfully treat your body with an array of repetitive and slow movements such as kneading, squeezing and rubbing, which function to eliminate toxins and other impurities. This treatment will make you feel wonderful!

Second treatment: Body scrub of your choice and therapeutic bath (45 min)

Cleaning in depth! This treatment will remove dead skin cells, promoting newer cells to come up, which results in healthy and glowing skin. botanica's exfoliants are made of 100% natural products.
Choice of scrub: Lulur (traditional Balinese), milk, coffee, spice, green tea. Мoisturizers: fresh yogurt or fresh papaya
Choice of bath: fresh flowers or spices

Botanica spa lunch (1 hour)

A special two-course light menu is prepared and served to Bali botanica guests at bridges Bali, a casual fine dining restaurant in Ubud.

Third treatment: Facial (1 hour)

This treatment softens, moisturizes and firms the skin while promoting the growth of new cells. Starting with applying milk cleanser, the treatment is then continued with peeling and exfoliation using natural scrub best suited for your skin condition.
Next, a face, neck and shoulder massage with a steam treatment, followed by optional manual extraction. Then, the facemask is applied and you can let it do its wonderful work and relax deeply for 15 minutes.
Treatment time: 1 hour.

Fourth treatment: Hair cream bath (1 hour)

Hair wash and natural hair mask. Your scalp is massaged with a rich avocado cream to stimulate circulation and release tension. Your therapist slowly massages your shoulders and upper arms before finally washing, applying hair tonic and drying.
This treatment will leave your hair radiant.
