Tropical trekking is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the exotic nature of the island and to immerse yourself into the unhurried atmosphere of Bali residents’ life. You will walk through a real rain forest and bamboo groves, visit a traditional Balinese village. You will admire the breathtaking views of the rice terraces.
Our trek takes visitors through Taro, one of the oldest Hindu villages in Central Bali dating back some 3000-4000 years. Taro is steeped in tradition and culture where rural life is seen as unchanged for a thousand years. The isolated village boasts the oldest Temple structure on the island of Bali and is also home to the famed Sacred White Cows that are rare to the island.
Hiking journey will last for 2.5 hours. We end up at beautiful Koko Bambu Restaurant, where you can have have lunch, take a dip in the pool and visit chocolate factory.
