Rafting in a surprisingly beautiful canyon in the jungle is something that is definitely worth trying in Bali! This is a fun adventure for the whole family, for those who come with friends or want to find new ones.
The each raft can accommodate up to 5-6 people and has a local guide who will teach you how to control the boat, tell you about the rules and maintain your safety. The competitions are often held if the passengers are ready to compete with others in maneuverability.
Telaga Waja river (class 3-3+) is dynamic and has tricky rapids but even beginners can cope with them, and even the fall from a scarp is included in the program (see the photo).
Rafting is absolutely safe if you follow the safety rules, even children are allowed to participate. The rafting course has a total duration of 2 hours. The tour includes insurance, lunch (open buffet) and transfer from the hotel.
We recommend you to bring sunscreen, swimming suite or shorts, sleeveless sport shirt and comfortable sport sandals. Photographers take shots around the river and you will be able to buy photos to remember the moment at the end of rafting. There is a special dry bag in a raft to store your personal belongings in. At the end of rafting you can take a shower in the changing room.
