Amed district is located on the North-East coast of Bali.
Many pyramids at a depth of 12 to 25 meters are heavily overgrown with corals and are home to all sorts of marine life. Among them on the sand everywhere scurry stingrays and sea eels. On the slope lies the skeleton of an old Japanese ship, its upper part does not reach the surface of just 3 meters. Here you can often see young Batfish, nudibranch and coloful Flounder Flatfish living on the sand. Reef sharks can be found under the walls at 25 – 30 meters, and various sculptures and structures for coral restoration are installed right at the shore in Jemeluk Bay.
